KARACHI (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday reserved verdict on a bail plea submitted by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan till June 29. As per reports, counsel for the MQM leader, who has been charged with protecting and harbouring terrorists, argued during the court proceeding that neither any evidence nor a witness has been presented against his client. In response, the Rangers' law officer informed court that interrogation of the accused has not been completed yet. "The Rangers wrote a letter to Sindh government for Amir Khan’s judicial inquiry but no response has been received so far," he stated. After hearing the arguments, the ATC judge reserved verdict on the MQM leader’s bail plea till June 29.
