Court stops Punjab govt from cancelling transfer of Raiwind land

LAHORE (92 News) – A local court stopped the Punjab government from cancelling transfer of the Raiwind land.

The Sharif family had moved civil court on action by the provincial government. Moreover, the court has summoned all parties with relevant record on April 27.

The petitioner stated that the Punjab government was illegally changing the ownership of over 1,500 kanals in Jati Umrah.

Earlier, the Punjab government had cancelled the transfer deed of 127-kanal of Raiwind residence owned by the Sharif family. The Revenue Department had transferred the land in the name of the Punjab government.
