COVID-19: 16 more deaths, 567 new cases were reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 16 more deaths from COVID-19 and 567 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 39,200 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.44 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,344. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,267,393.

Till now 12,382 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 8,478 in Punjab, 2,785 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 470 in Islamabad, 93 in Balochistan, 102 in Azad Kashmir and 76 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 466,945 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438,636 in Punjab, 177,240 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,615 in Islamabad, 33,159 in Balochistan, 34,422 in Azad Kashmir and 10,376 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
