COVID-19: 18 more deaths, 591 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 18 more deaths and 591 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 43,522 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.35 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,377. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,267,945.

Till now 12,346 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 8,243 in Punjab, 2,744 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 478 in Islamabad, 100 in Balochistan, 94 in Azad Kashmir and 76 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 467,142 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438,818 in Punjab, 177,349 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,655 in Islamabad, 33,171 in Balochistan, 34,428 in Azad Kashmir and 10,382 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
