COVID-19: 18 more deaths, 689 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 18 more deaths and 689 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 42,476 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.62 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,152. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,259,648.

Till now 22,182 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 13,384 in Punjab, 3,670 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,984 in Islamabad, 167 in Balochistan, 282 in Azad Kashmir and 85 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 463,167 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 436,442 in Punjab, 176,048 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,201 in Islamabad, 33,083 in Balochistan, 34,354 in Azad Kashmir and 10,353 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
