COVID-19: 28 more deaths, 1,016 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 28 more deaths and 1,016 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 47,934 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 2.11 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,201. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,261,685.

Till now 22,381 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 12,338 in Punjab, 3,386 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,745 in Islamabad, 151 in Balochistan, 237 in Azad Kashmir and 71 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 464,142 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 437,032 in Punjab, 176,366 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,312 in Islamabad, 33,100 in Balochistan, 34,372 in Azad Kashmir and 10,361 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
