COVID-19: 35 more deaths, 1,656 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another 35 deaths from COVID-19 across the country and 1,656 positive cases were reported in last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,656 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours.The total number of cases reached 1.249 million 858. There are 459,392 cases in Sindh, 432,809 in Punjab, 174,490 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 15664 in Islamabad. Besides, there are 10,331 cases in Gilgit-Baltistan, 32,956 in Balochistan and 34,216 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

NCOC officials say 35 people lost their lives in Corona. The total number of deaths has reached 27,866. The highest number of deaths was in Sindh and Punjab yesterday. The rate of positive cases in the last 24 hours was 3.26%. The condition of 3,444 patients across the country is critical.

NCOC officials added that the number of active cases across the country is 46,503. Corona tests were performed on 50,779 people yesterday. So far, COVID-19 tests have been performed on 1,95,37,730 people. There are 431 patients on ventilators across the country.
