COVID-19: 39 more deaths, 1,212 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 39 more deaths and 1,121 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 46,477 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 2.60 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,986. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,253,868.

Till now 22,717 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 15,246 in Punjab, 3,978 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,163 in Islamabad, 160 in Balochistan, 430 in Azad Kashmir and 134 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 461,258 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 434,139 in Punjab, 175,012 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 105,839 in Islamabad, 33,004 in Balochistan, 34,278 in Azad Kashmir and 10,338 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
