COVID-19: 39 more deaths, 1,742 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 39 more deaths and 1,742 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 52,635 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 3.30 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,729. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,245,127.

Till now 21,991 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 17,969 in Punjab, 4,569 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,288 in Islamabad, 174 in Balochistan, 635 in Azad Kashmir and 206 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 457,458 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 431,092 in Punjab, 173,796 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 105,417 in Islamabad, 32,916 in Balochistan, 34,127 in Azad Kashmir and 10,321 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
