COVID-19: 41 more deaths, 1,400 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 41 more deaths and 1,400 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 44,116 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 3.17 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,638. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,241,825.

Till now 22,689 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 18,865 in Punjab, 5,029 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,279 in Islamabad, 182 in Balochistan, 731 in Azad Kashmir and 193 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 456,343 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 429,655 in Punjab, 173,353 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 105,217 in Islamabad, 32,875 in Balochistan, 34,074 in Azad Kashmir and 10,308 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
