COVID-19: 50 more deaths, 2,233 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 50 more deaths and 2,233 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 52,788 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 4.23 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,482. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,234,828.

Till now 31,076 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 20,339 in Punjab, 5,700 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,495 in Islamabad, 248 in Balochistan, 898 in Azad Kashmir and 196 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 453,858 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 426,639 in Punjab, 172,498 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 104,764 in Islamabad, 32,828 in Balochistan, 33,955 in Azad Kashmir and 10,286 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
