COVID-19: 81 more deaths, 1,897 new infections reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 81 more deaths and 1,897 new cases were reported due to coronavirus across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 46,231 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 4.10 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,327. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,227,905.

Till now 29,889 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 21,961 in Punjab, 6,969 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,656 in Islamabad, 261 in Balochistan, 984 in Azad Kashmir and 202 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 451,448 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 423,670 in Punjab, 171,589 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 104,348 in Islamabad, 32,772 in Balochistan, 33,821 in Azad Kashmir and 10,257 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
