COVID-19 claims 13 more lives, 165 new cases reported in Islamabad during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 13 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19, while 165 new cases reported during last 24 hours.

According to National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 44,120 tests have been conducted during last 24 hours. The number of positive cases remained 2,074. Overall positive ratio of cases in the country remained 4.70%. The situation of 628 is critical.

Meanwhile, the most worsening situation had been observed in Karachi. As many as 1,347 new cases have been reported during last 24 hours. Ratio of positive cases have reached 20% in the city while the positive ratio of Omicron positive cases in the city remained 95%.

On the other hand, positive ratio of cases in Lahore remained seven percent while 18 new cases of Omicron reported in Lahore during last 24 hours. Punjab Health Minister Doctor Yasmin Rashid has said that vaccination process in the province has been expedited.
