COVID-19 claims 20 more lives, 7,586 new cases during last 24 hours
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 7 thousand 586 new cases of corona came to light across the country. The deadly virus also claimed the lives of 20 more people.

According to the National Command and Control Center (NCOC), in last 24 hours the positive rate of cases has reached 13%, the condition of 1,083 corona patients is critical.
Only vaccinated persons are allowed to enter mosques and places of worship by the NCOC. Masks and a distance of six feet have been declared mandatory. Removal of carpets and rows has been directed. The Friday prayer sermon will be kept short.
In Peshawar, the Home Department sent a letter seeking sanctions. Smart lockdown has been implemented in high rate sectors in Islamabad.
A record increase has been made in Corona cases in Islamabad. Yesterday, 1,497 new cases were reported. According to the DHO, the positive rate of Corona was 17.52% due to which it has been proposed to ban movement in 30 streets of 13 areas of Islamabad. A letter has been sent to DC Islamabad.
On the other hand, patients of Omicron variant are being reported in major cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. A record 1,497 cases were reported in Islamabad yesterday. More than 3,000 people are infected with the virus daily in Karachi.
