COVID-19 claims more 73 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 73 more deaths due to coronavirus and 2,714 new cases have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 56,733 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained at 4.78 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 26,938. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,212,809.

Till now 39,621 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 24,694 in Punjab, 7,587 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 3,612 in Islamabad, 329 in Balochistan, 1,420 in Azad Kashmir and 269 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 446,840 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 416,901 in Punjab, 169,429 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 103,293 in Islamabad, 32,658 in Balochistan, 33,490 in Azad Kashmir and 10,198 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
