COVID-19 Claims More 120 Deaths During Last 24 Hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19) claimed more 120 deaths during the past 24 hours, increasing the overall death toll to 25,535 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 4,191 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in a day and the number of positive cases has surged to 1,148,532.Overall 1,026,082 patients have recovered in the country. Positivity rate of infections was recorded at 6.83 percent.

Till now 50,000 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 24,844 in Punjab, 7,547 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,893 in Islamabad, 503 in Balochistan, 3,576 in Azad Kashmir and 481 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The province-wise cases are: Sindh (427,037), KPK (159,483), Punjab (386,578), Islamabad (97,956), Balochistan (32,014), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (31,478) and Gilgit Baltistan (9,795).
