COVID-19 claims more 16 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another 16 deaths from COVID-19 across the country and 622 positive cases were reported in last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 44,334 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.40 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,328. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,266,826.

Till now 12,383 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 8,646 in Punjab, 2,923 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 479 in Islamabad, 86 in Balochistan, 108 in Azad Kashmir and 74 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 466,750 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 438,433 in Punjab, 177,132 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,571 in Islamabad, 33,149 in Balochistan, 34,417 in Azad Kashmir and 10,374 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
