COVID-19 claims more 29 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Another 29 deaths from COVID-19 across the country and 955 positive cases were reported in last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 44,557 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 2.14 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,087. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,257,188.

Till now 22,741 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 14,120 in Punjab, 3,716 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,123 in Islamabad, 188 in Balochistan, 341 in Azad Kashmir and 123 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 462,295 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 435,512 in Punjab, 175,584 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 106,058 in Islamabad, 33,069 in Balochistan, 34,326 in Azad Kashmir and 10,344 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
