COVID-19 claims more 52 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 52 more deaths due to coronavirus and 1,560 new cases have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 48,836 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained at 3.19 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,690. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,243,385.

Till now 21,911 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 18,386 in Punjab, 4,914 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,261 in Islamabad, 172 in Balochistan, 666 in Azad Kashmir and 196 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 456,897 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 430,353 in Punjab, 173,548 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 105,287 in Islamabad, 32,888 in Balochistan, 34,101 in Azad Kashmir and 10,311 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
