COVID-19 claims more 71 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 71 more deaths due to coronavirus and 2,580 new cases have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 55,027 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained at 4.68 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 27,206. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,223,841.

Till now 29,409 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 22,759 in Punjab, 7,164 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,932 in Islamabad, 331 in Balochistan, 1,097 in Azad Kashmir and 217 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 450,126 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 421,800 in Punjab, 171,072 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 104,114 in Islamabad, 32,757 in Balochistan, 33,732 in Azad Kashmir and 10,240 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
