Covid-19 damaged world economy, says PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Covid-19 had damaged the world economy.

Addressing the inaugural session of the 14th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) virtually on Thursday, he said that the world will have to make bid decisions to avoid diseases like coronavirus.

The prime minister demanded that coronavirus vaccine access should be made easy across the world. "Peace in Afghanistan is vital for countries in the region," he declared.

He said that it was a great injustice to link terrorism to Islam. "Pakistan and Turkey are jointly striving to counter Islamophobia," he added.
