COVID-19: Punjab govt decides to establish plant for oxygen in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – The Punjab government has decided to establish an oxygen manufacturing plant in Lahore due to increasing demand over coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to the reports, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was briefed that a large oxygen plant can be established in Rs80 million while a medium size plant can begin working in just 60 million rupees.
The chief minister approved a pilot project in Lahore and directed the Primary Health secretary to submit a plan within two weeks. It was also decided to establish Oxygen plants in other divisional headquarters if the pilot program in Lahore succeeds.
