COVID-19: Sindh CM calls for ban on inter-city transport
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah suggested that the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) should suspend inter-city public transport amid rising number of Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.
Speaking to the journalists, Murad Ali Shah said, "Do a lockdown or don’t do it, smart lockdown is nothing.”
He also said the country is headed for the crisis at a time when the world has come out of it, slamming the slow-pace of the ongoing countrywide Covid-19 vaccination drive. He added that the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic was 'dangerous'.
“I have antibodies yet I am still afraid of corona[virus],” said CM Murad to highlight how dangerous the COVID-19 disease is.
