COVID-19: 47 more deaths, 2,333 positive cases reported during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – COVID-19 cases are increasing day by day across the country. In one day, 2,333 new cases were reported, 47 people lost their lives.

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the total number of cases has reached 1,230,238. The number of active cases across the country has reached 61,947.

Till now 29,993 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, in Punjab 21,368, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 6,565, in Islamabad 2,627, in Gilgit-Baltistan 190, in Balochistan 260, and in Azad Jammu and Kashmir 944.

According to the NCOC, the total number of deaths across the country has reached 27,374. The rate of positive cases in the last 24 hours was 4.56%.

Furthermore, 452,267 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 424,701 in Punjab, 171,874 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 104,472 in Islamabad, 32,796 in Balochistan, 33,864 in Azad Kashmir and 10,264 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
