COVID19: 75 more deaths, 3842 new cases reported in country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as Seventy-five more deaths due to coronavirus and 3,842 new positive cases of the infection have been reported in the country in a single day. 

According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center(NCOC), 3,842 new cases of corona have been reported in a single day. The total number of Corona cases reached 1.123 million. 1 million 9 thousand 555 people have recovered from Covid-19.

NCOC officials say that the number of active cases has reached 89,334. There are 47,485 active cases in Sindh, 23,197 in Punjab, 7,461 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,476 in Islamabad, 701 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 597 in Balochistan and 4,417 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to NCOC, 75 deaths had been reported in the past day. The total number of deaths has reached 24,923. In the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases was recorded at 7.1%. In one day, 53,527 corona tests were performed.
