CPEC project will prove to be a game changer in the region, says PM Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Political Bureau of Communist Party of China Zhang Chunxian has on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed economic and overall situation of the region. During the meeting, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the brotherly relations between the two countries are very strong. He said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would prove to be a game changer in the region, adding that the development projects under CEPC are being completed rapidly. The prime minister said that the energy projects under CPEC will eliminate load shedding from Pakistan, adding that it will also enhance industrial development in the country and ensure economic growth leading to reduction in unemployment and poverty. Communist party member Zhang appreciated the commitment of the prime minister in eliminating terrorism and extremist mindset from Pakistan. The Chairman said the Chinese leadership is impressed by the performance of the present government in turning around the economy and maintaining peace and security.
