ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the country cannot afford anarchy. Talking to media outside the accountability court on Tuesday, she said that Zahid Hamid resigned from his post as federal minister for law in the best interest of the country. “Sacrifices have to be given for the sake of the State,” she said. The minister said people have heaved a sigh of relief after winding up of the sit-in, adding that the chaos in the country has ended. On the other hand, Captain (r) Safdar, son-in-law of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif leader declared the distribution of Rs 1000 each among the participants of the sit-in as douceur. Responding to a question regarding a viral audio, he thanked the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on taking notice of the audio tape. He said that the PTA will also be asked about the audio.
