Crime rate decreased in Karachi amid Rangers, Police operation, says CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah

KARACHI (92 News) – Paying tribute to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the crime rate has decreased 80 percent in the city due to joint operation of police and Rangers. The ceremony was attended by the chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani, representatives of all armed forces, Director General Sindh rangers Maj Gen Bilal Akbar Akbar, IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali. Representatives of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Sunni Tehreek, Jamat-e-Islami, Jamiat Ulema Islam, JUP, business and social personalities have also attended the ceremony. Addressing a ceremony held in connection with the 50th Defense Day at the CM House, he praised the Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif uniting the nation and starting a war against terrorism. He said that the law-enforcement agencies have made impossible, possible in the last two years. The CM said that the political and military leadership will eliminate terrorism from Sindh, adding that the policy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was to raise the stature of Pakistan in the world that is being implemented by the PPP.
