CTD arrests alleged five terrorists in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) busted another Indian terrorism plan as five alleged terrorists, funded by the RAW, have been arrested in Lahore’s Shahdara area.

According to the CTD officials, the arrested terrorists identified as Samarqand, Abbul Rehman, Imran, Wazir Gul and Asmatullah. Large cache of weapons, explosives and Indian currency have been recovered from the suspects who had planned to target the Punjab Civil Secretariat and other sensitive places.

Furthermore, pictures of important buildings have been found from the cellular phones of the accused.
