CTD arrests two killers of Maulana Abddul Qayyum

KARACHI (92 News) - The Counter Terrorism Department on Saturday arrested the killer of Maulana Abdul Qayyum.

Talking to the media, DIG East Muqadas Haider and SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh disclosed that the murder of Maulana Abdul Qayyum was not sectarian, but he was murdered over a land dispute.

They said that Ali Akbar and Tanveer had killed Maulana Abdul Qayyum after getting Rs500,000. "The accused who are hired assassin had killed their political rival in 2013," they added.
