CTD confiscates mobile phone, passport of MQM leader Anees Advocate

KARACHI (92 News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has decided to confiscate the mobile phone and passport of the former MQM leader Anees Advocate.

According to the reports, anti-terrorism department, Anees Ahmed Advocate appeared today. He was asked about the training of MQM London terrorists in India but he could not satisfy the authorities.

The CID has started the procedure to block the national identity card (CNIC) of Anees Advocate.

Forensic of Anees Advocate's mobile phone will be conducted while his identity card would also be blocked. "If he tried to leave the city, he would be considered a fugitive," it added. The politician has been banned to go outside the metropolis, whereas, his mobile phone will be sent for forensic investigation.
