CTD kills seven terrorists in Sheikhupura

SHEIKHUPURA (92 News) – At least seven terrorists were killed and five others managed to flee during a raid conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department in Sheikhupura on Wednesday.

As per details, on a tip off the presence of terrorists in the area, a team of Counter-Terrorism Department carried out an operation at Sharaqpur Road.

During the operation, terrorists hiding in the area opened firing at police, in retaliation, seven terrorists of a banned organizations were killed on the spot while five others managed to escape. The killed terrorists were planning to carry out terrorist activity in the city.

Police further recovered huge cache of weapons, hand grenades, maps of sensitive areas and three motorcycles, the police have launched search operation for the arrest of escaped terrorists, while the bodies of killed terrorists were shifted to hospital.
