CTD unearths terrorist network, arrests two terrorists belonging to MQM-London

KARACHI (92 News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) unearthed a terrorist network and arrested two terrorists belonging to the MQM-London.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, CTD DIG Umar Shahid said that the arrested terrorists had disclosed their links with Anees advocate and Wasay Jaleel who had been given the responsibility to send boys to India.

The CTD DIG said that the terrorists arrested from Mirpur Khas had received training from India.

"The terrorists had been active since 2003. Their objective was to strengthen RAW network as well as to activate the sleeper cell along the Sindh border," he added.
