ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Responding to the speech of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Asif, Minister for Communication Murad Saeed said that the culture will not run. Speaking to the floor of National Assembly, Murad Saeed replied all the points raised by Khawaja Asif one another. He also said that the protests held outside the same house in London which ownership proved after five years. The minister said that Khawaja Asif had taken the salary of washerman in UAE being as minister in Pakistan. He also said that PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal also did job in abroad on Iqamah. “Ahsan Iqbal had awarded contracts to his brother and concealed the money of corruption by making the company,” he added. Murad Saeed said PTI has nothing to do with the protest demonstration at the residence of the former premier Nawaz Sharif’s son in London. Condemning the protest, he said, “We neither support nor encourage attacks on the residence of political opponents.” The communication minister has said that the nation will keep on asking questions about loot and plunder of the past rulers. He asked that the PML-N will have to answer how former ruling family bought properties in London. He said Shahbaz Sharif plundered the national wealth in the name of paper companies like Good Nature Company. Regarding opposition’s objection on issuance of ordinances, Murad Saeed said every democratic government of the past issued 119 ordinances every year, but the PTI government promulgated only 19 ordinances in just 18 months. He said that the PPP and the PML-N should answer for placing the country under unprecedented loan of 24,000 billion rupees in last ten years, Shahbaz Sharif’s TT scandal, and foreign properties of the past rulers. Earlier, lashing out at the incumbent government, PML-N stalwart Khawaja Asif said on Monday that yesterday the attack was attempted on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during the protest outside his son’s residence in London. Speaking to the floor in the National Assembly, the PML-N senior leader said that the protest outside Nawaz Sharif’s residence is clear message of battle from the government’s side. “Attack was attempted yesterday and this wrong tradition being set by the government in London protest,” he said. Issuing warning to the government, Khawaja Asif maintained that this war does not close if they will retaliate. “His party does not wish to turn political enmity into personal one but they will go to last extant if something happens to their leader,” he said. “I know who is behind the protest in London and I will reveal the names of those who staged protest when the time comes,” the PML-N leader claimed. “It has never happened in the past, and it will turn into a tradition if such acts start to take place.” Khawaja Asif maintained that the PML-N knows who to take revenge but does not want conflict. He warned that the party will retaliate in the same coin if sanctity of former prime minister’s or anyone else’s house is violated. “Nawaz Sharif went to London after permission of the court,” he said.
