LAHORE (92 News) – In a major breakthrough in fight against terror, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Thursday busted a terrorist cell of Daesh and apprehended eight terrorists in an operation in the provincial capital. According to CTD Lahore spokesman, the arrested terrorists have visited Afghanistan and Syria and the terrorists were planning to cross the border into Afghanistan and go to Syria. The law enforcers have recovered weapons, laptops and mobile phones. The terrorists were arrested after tapping their mobile phones for three months. The detained terrorist Nabeel Abu Abdullah was the Daesh Punjab Commander who belonged to Lahore, Qari Abid, currently present in Syria prepared them through social media. The CTD have lodged a case against the terrorists and launched investigation.
