Dangal star Zaira Wasim apologizes for meeting Mehbooba Mufti

NEW DELHI – 'Dangal' girl Zaira Wasim, who played the role of Geeta Phogat in the Amir Khan blockbuster, has apologized for meeting Mehbooba Mufti, asking Kashmiri youth not to follow in her footsteps or even consider her as their role model. She posted the apologetic note on her Facebook page and later she deleted. The 16-year-old Dangal star, in the note, stated that she apologized for offending people by her recent actions. She hoped that the people would accept her apology. The Indian government recently released photographs of Zaira with Mehbooba.
