LAHORE (92 News) – Dead body of Sri Lankan factory manager Priyantha Kumara, who was killed in killed in Sialkot will be shifted to Colombo on Monday.

On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar the dead body of Srilankan citizen Priyantha Kumara will be officially shifted to Colombo from Lahore.

Usman Buzdar could not reach airport to receive the dead body due to an important meeting. Provisional Minister for Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ijaz Aslam will represent Usman Buzdar at airport. Many other officials of Punjab government will also be present at airport.

Meanwhile, Police has arrested main accused Adnan Iftikhar who spread violence at the time of incident and 124 others.

The accused will be produced in the anti-terrorism court in Gujranwala on Monday.

Father of Adnan Iftikhar said, “My son did wrong by dragging the dead body of Priyantha Kumara, we are extremely saddened by the incident. Now only that will happen what the government wants.”

On the other hand, Minister of Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in programme “Subah Sawery Pakistan” that entire country is saddened on Sialkot incident. “Not any society allows incidents like these; we collectively have to make efforts to make a bridge to handle this obsessive state,” he added.
