LAHORE (92 News) – As the deadline for the resignation of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah will end today (Sunday), Sargodha-based spiritual leader Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi summoned an emergency press conference at 5pm. Former Senator Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi while repeatedly demanding the resignation of the Punjab law minister had threatened to lead Tehreek-e-Labaik Ya Rasoolallah (TLYR) protest in Lahore if their demands were not met by December 3. Pir Sialvi stuck to his guns on the demand for resignation of Punjab Minister Rana Sanaullah even after the visit of Minister of Auqaf Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri to the former’s house at Sial Sharif. As many as 13 members of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) including Member National Assembly (MNA) Sheikh Muhammad Akram had handed their resignations to Pir Sialvi as they would “not compromise on the matter of the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat law”. Meanwhile, former Punjab chief minister Dost Muhammad Khosa also announced that they will support Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi over the resignation of Rana Sanaullah. “Sialvi will make the final decision over the resignation issue,” he added.
