Deadlock ends as opposition's three big parties agree to hold new elections immediately

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The continuing deadlock in the opposition ended as three big parties agreed to hold the new elections immediately after the success of the no-confidence motion.

Under the new strategy, all parties have stopped their members from going abroad. The members have been directed to use the alternate mobile numbers. Meanwhile, the opposition has made arrangements to protect and shift the MNAs to Islamabad.

According to sources, the PPP wanted to complete the constitutional tenure of the assembly while the MQM and the PML-Q were not agree on the immediate elections. The continuous efforts of the JUI and the PML-N convinced the PPP for the immediate elections.

The PDM wanted the immediate elections after the success of the no-confidence motion. Moreover, the government allies had given the charter of demand for completing the constitutional tenure of the assemblies in exchange for supporting the no-confidence motion.

Earlier, PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif had given Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Shehbaz Sharif to table the no-confidence motion.
