Deadlock persists over appointment of Balochistan caretaker CM

QUETTA (92 News) - Deadlock between the Balochistan chief minister and the opposition leader persists over the appointment of the caretaker chief minister.

Both sides raised objections on the names recommended for the formation of the parliamentary committee.

Moreover, the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party raised objections on the names forwarded by the opposition.

On the other hand, the committee also objected to the name recommended by Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

The chief minister and the opposition leader had forwarded three names each to the speaker for the establishment of the opposition leader.
