Death-row prisoner Shafqat Hussain once again escapes the noose

KARACHI (92 News) – Death-row prisoner Shafqat Hussain once again escaped the noose as his hanging was postponed at Karachi Central Prison on Monday. According to details, IG Jail Nusrat Mangan received orders from Federal Interior Ministry to postpone the hanging. Five member team of European Union had requested the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah to postpone the hanging of Shafqat Hussain. Qaim Ali Shah had assured the five-member team of discussing the matter with the Prime Minister.
