Deaths in drone attack: IHC orders case against CIA former station chief Jonathan Banks

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ordered to register a case against Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) former station chief Jonathan Banks over deaths of civilians in an American drone attack. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of the IHC heard the plea for registration of the case in his chamber. The court ordered IG Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan to submit him a report after registering the case at Secretariat police station. The IG Islamabad stated that the case could affect the diplomatic ties. Haji Abdul Karim Khan of North Waziristan, in the petition, said that his son and brother were killed in a drone attack on a primary school on December 31, 2009.
