Dengue fever claims two more lives in Punjab during last 24 hours

LAHORE (92 News) – Two people have lost their lives due to dengue fever in Punjab during last 24 hours.

The people who lost their lives belonged to Lahore, increasing the total number of deaths to 143 in the province.

74 new cases were reported in the province. 60 cases were reported in Lahore, four in Rawalpindi, two in Gujranwala and 3 three in Kasur during last 24 hours.

Meanwhile in KPK, 36 new cases were reported during last 24 hours, increasing the total number patients to 10,370 in the province. Till now, 10 people so far have lost their lives due to dengue fever in the province. Seven patients in Mardan were reported during last 24 hours.

On the other hand, four patients of dengue fever reported in the federal capital during last 24 hours, increasing the total number of patients to 4,610. Three new cases were reported in rural areas and one patient in urban areas. In rural areas dengue fever affected 2,618 people while 1,983 in urban areas.
