ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the debt would increase if the petrol price was not raised. Speaking at the 23rd Foundation Day of the PTI, he said that they had received deficit of Rs19 billion in the current account. “The PPP, the PML-N had not left the canals of milk. Inflation has increased, but it is not more than the past,” he said. The prime minister said that the Sharifs could not establish a single hospital despite being in power for 24 years. “Shehbaz Sharif, Ishaq Dar and Hamza’s family are living abroad in the name of treatment.” He said that Nawaz Sharif wants to go abroad in the name of treatment. “The person sending money to Hamza Shehbaz and Asif Zardari from abroad was the same,” he added. He said that the government could not give the NRO at any cost. “The law will be same for all in Naya Pakistan.” Imran Khan said that the result of the offshore drilling would come after two weeks. “We hope that huge reservoirs of gas will be recovered,” he added. He reiterated to put the country on the path of development and prosperity in line with the Islamic welfare state of Madina. “Ideology of Pakistan is our mission and we are striving to make the country a welfare state where every citizen will enjoy equal rights.” Announcing 10-point agenda of his government, he said this is a historic and comprehensive program regarding the destitute, widows, orphans, workers, labourers, farmers, jobless, homeless, aged and poor students of the country. He said that the government had already started affordable housing program for shelterless people of the country. He said that the government was also committed to promote tourism in the country as Pakistan is rich in tourism sector. The prime minister said that the government is also announcing local bodies system to devolve the power and new system will ensure the development of backward areas. “Steps are being taken to develop the agriculture sector with support of China as it is committed to support Pakistan. The government has already started the health card scheme for the poor.” The Prime Minister said ideology of Pakistan is our mission and we are striving to make the country a welfare state where every citizen will enjoy equal rights. PTI vice-chairman and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi congratulated party workers for supporting Imran Khan's ideology of Naya Pakistan. “PTI is equally popular in all parts of the country. PTI workers overcame all hurdles in spreading Imran Khan's message in every nook and corner of the country,” he said. Attaullah Khan Essakhelvi also attended the function on a wheelchair. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail sang a song. A documentary on 23-year struggle of the PTI was also shown during the function. However, PTI leaders Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Aamir Kayani, Shehryar Afridi and Jahangir Tareen were also present on the occasion.
