ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PPP leader Sherry Rehman has said that the decision of stopping funds for development projects is unconstitutional.

While sharing a tweet on Tuesday, she said that federal government is responsible for lack of resources. The federal government wants to abdicate its constitutional responsibility by shifting its financial burden to the provinces.

Critising the current government she said that it has been proven that the federal government cannot run the country by taking all provinces altogether. The responsibility of the federal government lies not only with Islamabad but with the whole country. “Do we need to explain the basic principles of constitution and federal responsibilities to this government?”, she added.

“In another attempt to evade it's constitutional responsibilities, #TabahiSarkar has decided to stop financing provincial development projects. Do they need to be reminded that the entire country is their responsibility and not just Banigala, Islamabad.”
