Dehli tops list of the most polluted city and Lahore stands second

LAHORE (92 News) – Delhi tops the list of the most polluted in the world with 513 air quality index and Lahore stands second with 306 air quality index.

Traffic jams in Lahore has become a common routine in Lahore due to development projects. It causes spreading of pollution. Air pollution increases day by day in provisional capital. Due to polluted particles in air, it has become difficult for women, children and old people to breathe. They suffer respiratory and many other diseases due to this pollution.

According to Environment Protection Department, in the surroundings of Town Hall 234 air quality index was recorded, 264 in Town Ship sector 2, 333 in Jalo and 301 in National Hockey Stadium was recorded.

Meanwhile, 171 in Faisalabad, 196 in Rawalpindi and 136 in Rahimyar Khan air quality index was recorded during last 24 hours.
