Delay in LG polls results in Karachi increasing doubts: JI ameer Sirajul Haq

LAHORE (92 News) - Jamaat-e-Islami ameer Sirajul Haq has said that the delay in the results of the local government elections in Karachi is increasing doubts.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that the PPP should accept the decision of the people. "We have capability of go along with all. We hope that Asif Zardari will resolve the problems after listening to us," he added.

He said that the attitude of the PTI and the National Assembly speaker is extremely non-serious. "The country is going default politically and morally as well as economically," he maintained.

Sirajul Haq said that the Jamaat-e-Islami had worked hard to make Karachi a city of lights.

He said that the government should accept the mandate of the people. "The provincial government should not influence the ROs. We are serious people and want peace and progress in Karachi," he maintained.
