ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician Dr Adnan on Friday has said that delay in shifting the PML-N leader abroad for medical treatment could’ve serious adverse life consequences. “Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health status remains critical,” Dr Adnan said in his tweet. He also attached pictures of a letter sent by the Medical Board of the Services Hospital to Punjab’s Health Department on Sunday in the tweet. In the letter, the special medical board concluded that it agreed with the doctors of the Services Hospital for moving the former premier abroad for medical treatment. “Former PM #NawazSharif’s health status remains critical. Special Medical Board of Punjab Govt. comprising of eminent medical professionals recommended travelling for medical treatment abroad to a centre of excellence. The delay could’ve serious adverse health & life consequences,” he tweeted. A day earlier, the condition of former premier Nawaz Sharif is very serious and it is mandatory for him to go abroad for treatment. This was stated by Dr Adnan, personal physician of Nawaz Sharif, said that it was not being diagnosed why platelets are reducing. “Nawaz Sharif has undergone an open heart surgery. Platelets could not increase due to steroids administered to him,” he said. Dr Adnan said that 80 percent arteries supplying blood to the brain of Nawaz Sharif are clogged. “Nawaz Sharif is also suffering from the problems of kidney, Urea and creatinine,” he said. He said that Nawaz Sharif faced the problem of platelets after being shifted to Sharif Medical City. “He is also suffering from kidney disorder. The Government Medical Board also treated Nawaz Sharif and concluded that he cannot be treated in Pakistan,” he maintained.
