December 6, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Delegations of parties allied with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail as well as delegations of the PTI, the Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) also participated in the meeting. The leaders of the allied parties informed PM Imran Khan about alleged excesses of the Sindh government. During the meeting, it was decided to prepare a joint strategy to counter the Sindh government. The MQM presented its demands to the prime minister. According to sources, the participants had demanded arrest of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. “No project of the federal government can be completed till presence of Syed Murad Ali Shah,” they opined. They said that Sindh needs accountability most of all. The prime minister denied the impression of a deal with the PPP at any level. “I have come to wage a jihad against corruption. There will be neither a deal nor relaxation,” he said. He said that the government would go to any extent for progress. Sardar Ali Gohar Mehar, Zulfiqar Mirza, Khurram Sher Zaman and other leaders complained about the chief minister. The participants were also apprised about the work on corruption cases more than the fake accounts case.
