Democratic system, traditions' continuity crucial for development: FM Bilawal Bhutto

JAKARTA (92 News) - Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that democratic system and traditions continuity are crucial for sustainable development.

Speaking at 15th Bali Democracy forum in Indonesia, he said that democracy is the foundation of an emancipated society. “Pakistan has always been striving and will keep striving for a people’s centric democracy. The democracy of fiction is to be replaced with the democracy of truth.”

The foreign minister has also urged the need to reform international financial institutions for better and equitable dispensation of financial resources.
